Based on the understanding of marine shipbuilding industry and accumulated technological know-how, Panasia lead the industry with Ballast Water Treatment System and Emission Gas Control System. Panasia recently announced that it signed a contract with Samsung Heavy Industries(SHI) to supply its DeNOx system on Statoils FSU(Floating Storage Unit), which is being constructed by SHI. As a vessel that stores oil drilled from oilfields in the North Sea, an FSU is subjected to the NORSOK Standard, which is currently known to have the strictest regulations and procedures. Panasia received high evaluations from SHI for not only possessing source technology on DeNOx facilities, including 22 domestic and overseas patents, but also for having multiple performance records of power plant installation in both Korea and overseas.

Also, Panasia not only reviewed applicability through basic and detailed design technical meetings with SHI and completed assessment through quality inspection, but it also satisfied the contract condition of providing A/S and spare parts within 24 hours requested by Statoil by utilizing the company s global service network established across 35 countries around the world.

These efforts made it possible for Panasia to become the first in Korea to enter the offshore market in the DeNOx facility field.

Ballast Water Treatment System

GleEn-Patrol™acquiring AMS(Alternate Management System)approval from USCG(United States Coast Guard) lit the green light for the company to enter the U.S market even though diverse technologies and products are in service by the various manufacturers over the world. Having this approval, ships equipped with GloEn-Patrol™ can now enter U.S ports, and the number of inquiries from water transport operations companies that have frequent operations in America, including those from the United States, and related customers have been gradually increased.

Additionally, Panasia has successfully made the fleet contracts at their first deal with ATLANSHIP S.A. without prior evaluation in recognition of their dramatic achievement made so far in BWTS market such as the launch for its new generation model GⅢ designed to be effective for retrofit construction and high capacity water treatment with minimal footprint.

Emission Gas Control System

During the combustion of fossil fuel, nitrogen in the fuel and the air are oxidized. Then, nitrogen oxide(NOx_NO, NO2) will be created, which results in serious atmospheric pollution due to acid rain, photochemical smog, and ozone creation. For this reason, Panasia have developed the optimized Selective Catalytic Reduction System not only for each industrial environment of domestic/foreign power plant and chemical plant but also for new built vessels in order to comply with the nitrogen oxide(NOx) emission standards provided by TierⅢ(2016) of IMO(International Maritime Organization). And then, based on the experiences of supplying this system for land-based plant, we try to distribute the SCR system for offshore plant which is suitable for marine engine.
